OK, I have a massive Politics and Law test tomorrow so I need a large amount of sleep and consequently, this will be kept short.
Before today, I have never had anyone say anything about my voice/the way I speak. When I was little, I had a lisp and had speech therapy to get rid of it, and now when I am tired I speak out the sides of my mouth at times, but it isn't noticeable.
But, today, something weird happened. Not one, but three different people told me that I speak weirdly. And not because of my impediment. Apparently I put emphasis on syllables that other people wouldn't emphasise, and that some of my words come out in strong American or French accents. This didn't really surprise me I guess, because I speak french and have American family that I talk to all the time, but it was just weird that before today, I have never had anyone comment about the way I speak, and today I had three people tell me.
But oh well.
