Because our year 11 and 12 are about preparing you for your final exams (used for university entrance), my school day was a blur of course outlines, marks, assessment weighting/scaling and Curriculum Council stuff (the CC is the Australian board that sets the entire curriculum for years 11 and 12). It got to the point where I felt everything is going in one ear and out the other....
And not only is today the first day, but:
- I'm back to my usual perfectionist, over-achieving self who crams as much as possible into each day. it all starts tomorrow, with early morning library session before school, school, saxophone quartet rehearsal, year assembly and then work. So much for me taking a step away from that sort of schedule this year...
- I already have homework.
